Mysejahtera App Malaysia to track and manage Covid19

MySejahtera is an application developed by the Government of Malaysia to assist in managing the COVID-19 outbreaks in the country.

It allows users to perform health self-assessment on themselves and their family members. The users can also monitor their health
progress throughout the COVID-19 outbreak.

According to Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the feature will enable users of MySejahtera to use the app to
check-in at places like shopping malls and restaurants without having to write down their details upon entering each location.

KFC Hope Run 2018 using rfid to track bibs

KFC Malaysia's fund-raising drive, 'Add Hope 2017', has raked in RM4.2 million funds, the highest record over the past 11 years running, says QSR Brands Holdings Bhd Chairman Datuk Kamaruzzaman Kassim.

"No words can fully express my gratitude for the generosity shown by our fellow Malaysians. With your donations, we are able to distribute the contribution," said Kamaruzzaman, who is also Chief Executive of Johor Corporation in a statement.

"Let us continue to work together with KFC Malaysia and push this effort to greater level in the coming years so that more deserving families can be aided and benefit from the funds," he was quoted as saying at a finale event at Dataran Perbadanan Putrajaya recently.

Gracing the occasion were Permaisuri Johor, Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Sultan Idris Shah, who is also the Royal Patron of Add Hope Malaysia and Tunku Mahkota Johor's royal consort, Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam.

Add Hope Malaysia said in a statement the annual initiative took off in June last year, with funds raised through the sales from KFC's Add Hope Meal sets, online donations as well as donation boxes placed at KFC counters across Malaysia.

Runners were given bibs with rfid tags so that the runners were able to track those racing to the finishing line. Rfid readers were place near finishing line connected to hardware as well. Much more easier compare to tracking 2D barcodes, don't you agree?

RFID test paper packages for Ministry of Education Malaysia

Second Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh said the overall decline in pupils’ performance was because of the questions on “higher order thinking skills (HOTs)” this year.

“Last year, there were only 25% of HOTs questions. This year, we increased it (HOTs questions) to 40% and there are plans to to increase it to almost 80% in the future.

“The leaks were not a determining factor. We found that many pupils had made mistakes when it came to the HOTs question,” he told reporters after visiting SK Puchong Jaya on Wednesday.

It was a controversial examination for the 460,407 pupils who sat for the UPSR in September, as question papers for four subjects were leaked and the Mathematics, Science, English and Tamil Language papers had to be retaken.

Idris said the ministry was considering using radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology to track question paper packages while they were transported to schools.

“RFID will be able to give information on whether the packages have been interfered with. We are now discussing with the relevant companies on the possibility of using the technology,” he said.

Education director-general Datuk Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof said 36,304 pupils (7.89%) scored all As this year.

“The ministry needs accountability and integrity from its staff and those involved. They must be responsible in ensuring that all public examinations are run professionally,” he added when announcing the analysis of the UPSR results at the Education Ministry in Putrajaya.
